Black Stars of Ghana To Play The  Desert Foxes of Algeria In A Pre- AFCON Friendly In Doha

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reached an agreement with the North African country for an international friendly later this month.

Ghana will engage The Desert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly in Qatar ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which will commence next month in Cameroon.

The Black Stars have scheduled a training camp in Qatar for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Milovan Rajevac’s side will battle out with the Africa Cup of Nations title holders in a Pre-AFCON friendly after both Football Associations reached an agreement few days ago.

The senior national team of Ghana are hoping to end its Africa Cup of Nations title drought at the 33rd edition of the tournament in Cameroon.

Ghana has been paired alongside Morocco, Comoros and Gabon in Group C.

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Cameroon from 9th January 2022 to 6th February 2022.
