Having missed out on a medal in the singles category, Ghana made their participation count in the teams’ category as they won bronze and silver medals in the men’s and women’s categories respectively.

The men’s team finished fourth behind Ivory Coast, Benin and Nigeria with the latter winning gold while Ghana’s women’s team led by Cynthia Kwabi also came up second behind Nigeria while Ivory Coast and Benin finished third and fourth respectively.

The first four countries in the teams’ categories qualifier to the 2023 African Championship to be held in Tunisia while the first to eighth from the singles also advance to the tournament.
