Hundreds of Sports personalities thronged the Koforidua Jackson Park to mourn with Asempa FM’S Enoch Worlanyo Wallace in a sorrowful funeral and burial ceremony for his late mother, Mada perpetual Naa Amanuah Ankrah.
The Late Perpetual Naa Amanua Ankrah died December 2020 following a short illness in Koforidua jn the Eastern Region.
Mourners who witnessed the sorrowful ceremony included the Minister designated for the Youth and Sports ministry Hon. Mustapha Yussif who attended the Funeral with former Ghana FA communication director Tamimu Issah.
The Ghana FA was represented by its executive council member, Nana Sarfo Oduro who sent the FA president’s special message of Condolence to the Worlanyo family
Former Ghana FA vice President Mr George Akwesi Afriyie, together with President of New Edubiase Football club Abdul Salama Yakubu, his CEO William Asare, anf their entourage were also in attendance.
Mr Kwabena Yeboah, President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana was rhere to represent the Membersnof the sports media, while Ghana Premier league side Medeama SC had its communication director Patrick Akoto attending the funeral.
Staff of Multimedia Ghana Limited, sports Journalist Jerome Otchere, Saddick Adams, Kofi Asare Brako, Charles Osei Asibey, and many other well wishers were among a host of personalities who joined the Sports Broadcaster to pay final farewell to his late mother.
