Ex-Asante Kotoko Sporting Club coach, Malik Jabir accepts as a true fact that the Porcupines Warriors can be compared to the North African clubs only if Nana Yaw Amponsah’s administration is given the time.
“We should not be saying we want to catch the Europeans or Arabians, people should understand that we can but it is going to take time with the new administration,” Jabir told OTEC FM
“The perseverance of the management, players and the supporters will lift the club and we will see how quickly the team (Kotoko) can catch the North Africans before we think of how to beat them again”, he finalized.
Malik Jabir is retired Ghanaian professional football striker . He was also played for the Ghana National football team at the 1998 and 1972 summer Olympics, he coached Ghana in 2003.
He also coached Asante Kotoko , ASFA Yennenga of Burkina Faso and
Kano Pillars F.C. of Nigeria as Technical advisor.
