Asante Kotoko defender Patrick Yeboah has terminated his contract with the Ghana Premier League giant.
The talented left-back has terminated his contract with Asante Kotoko with about two years left.
Confirming the news on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Patrick Yeboah stated that he has left Asante Kotoko to seek for regular playing time elsewhere.
“It’s not because of the arrival of some players. I just want to take on new challenge.
“I am not afraid of challenge but I have to move on. I thank the Kotoko family because they made me who I am”, he said.
“Getting enough time to play as a player is very important and it was the reason why I decided to terminate my contract with Kotoko”, he added.
Patrick Yeboah joined Asante Kotoko in July, 2019 on a three-year deal from Karela United but had limited playing time after the signing of Imoro Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have added to their squad former Atalanta BC left-back Patrick Asmah ahead of the new league season.
