Accra Elite Football Academy has announced the appointment of experienced football administrator Aicha Amoako Denteh as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Denteh takes up the role with a wealth of experience in football administration, team management, player welfare and international football operations.
She previously served as Team Manager and Welfare Officer of Ghana’s U-20 Women’s National Team, the Black Princesses, and was part of the team’s journey to the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
Her experience also includes a stint as Team Manager of Berry Ladies FC, where she gained further exposure to the organisation and management of women’s football at club level.
At the continental level, Denteh has worked as a Liaison Officer and Translator during both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, giving her valuable experience in coordinating football-related activities involving teams and officials from different countries.
Beyond her practical experience in football, Denteh has undertaken professional training in Sports Communication, Sponsorship and Marketing, and Human Resource Management in Morocco.
Her ability to communicate fluently in English, French and German further strengthens her profile, particularly in an increasingly international football environment.
Accra Elite Football Academy believes her combination of football administration experience, professional training, communication skills and international exposure will contribute significantly to the academy’s continued growth and development.
Her appointment is expected to bring fresh leadership and strategic direction as the academy continues to build its football project and create opportunities for young talents.
Welcoming her to the position, the academy expressed confidence in her ability to help drive its ambitions and strengthen its operations.
Aicha Amoako Denteh now begins a new chapter as CEO of Accra Elite Football Academy, with her extensive experience expected to play a key role in shaping the academy’s future.
