The Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Development Authority, Jerry Ahmed Shaib will on Friday, December 3, 2021 Commission the newly constructed Astro Turf at Mamprobi Girls School, Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
The facility is financed by the Coastal Development Authority under the One-constituency, One-million dollars project.
Over a short period, the ultramodern Astro Turf has been completed with its Commissioning set for Friday 5:00pm
The commissioning exercise will see Mamprobi United (U13) vs Barca (U13) and Chorkor FC vs James Town FC.
The facility will also enhance training and development of sporting talents in the constituency and equip the youth with the needed skills to compete with the rest of the world, and will also serve as event grounds for the community.
Mamprobi is an area where Legendary Stephen Appiah and many footballers come from.
