Fast emerging second Division side, Cheetah FC have commissioned a modern Astro Turf at Senya Bereku at in the Central Region.
The Astro Turf pitch which is the longest (6000mm long FIFA quality) was named as Yartel Oskoso Park (Predators Den).
Cheetah FC formed in 2009 are widely known for producing great talents like Emmanuel Toku, Wakaso Alhassan, Ishmael Yartey, Christian Atsu, Iddris Mohammed and a host of others is known for producing talents for the footballing market.
Personalities who honoured the occasion included; MP for Senya Bereku Constituency- Mrs Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, the chiefs, Senya Bereku Traditional Council, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, Tony Baffoe, Oti Akenteng, Ashford Tetteh Oku, Malvi Ishaque, Central Regional FA chairman, GOC president, Ben Nunoo Mensah among others.
Musicians and footballers who graced the occasion included; Kofi Kinaata, Keche, Patapaa, Christian Atsu and great footballers; both former & current Black Stars players, Gifty Ayew former Black Queen player among others.
