Pictures: Dreams FC train stewards in readiness to admit fans at Theater of Dreams

Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC, have completed the training of over 50 stewards today in Dawu.This is under orders of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to ensure fans at the match venues adhere to COVID-19 protocols on game days.


The club confirmed the completion of the steward training in a report on its website on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.“Dreams Football Club today as part of adhering to Security and Safety protocols spelt out by the Ghana Football Association have trained over 50 stewards,” it said.“The training as part of directives monitored by the Safety and Security committee to ensure that premier league clubs and fans observe Covid-19 rules at the various stadia was completed at the Theater of Dreams, Dawu.

“Corporal Richard Ebo Dougan of the Akuapim Akropong Police station facilitated the training.“The participants were taken through practical and theory sessions to enable them rotate the personnel on match days in Dawu.”The GFA back in February placed a four-week ban on fans entering stadia to watch matches and said they would be allowed back in when this exercise is finished.The training to be conducted across the country is expected to end on Thursday, 11th March 2021 with reports and lists of stewards submitted to the association.
